Randy Boyd
Randy Boyd, E-RYT 500, began studying and practicing yoga in 1976. In 2000 he began practicing alignment based yoga in the Tantric tradition. After completing his 200 hour teacher training in the Anusara style with Todd Norian in 2007, he completed his 500 hour certification thru Anusara in 2011. In 2014 he completed an Ashaya 300 training. In 2019 he completed the Ashaya 300 hour training again.
Randy became a certified yoga therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists in 2016, after completing 300 hours of training specific to yoga therapy and logging over 500 hours of private yoga therapy sessions. He is certified in Yoga For Osteoporosis. Randy teaches at workshops and 200 hour, as well as 300 hour teacher trainings in WV, Ohio, Pa, Va, and Mass. Randy teaching style is a blend of heart based life affirming philosophy and precision alignment. |
Todd Norian
Todd Norian, E-RYT 500, is an internationally acclaimed yoga teacher. A student of yoga since 1980, he has immersed himself in many styles of alignment-based and heart-centered yoga. In 2012, he founded Ashaya Yoga® (AH-shy-ah) – a Sanskrit word that means, “abode of the heart” – which blends precise alignment techniques with empowering and spiritually uplifting philosophy. With warmth and humor, Todd excels at making deep philosophical teachings accessible and relatable. Ellen Saltonstall
Ellen Saltonstall, E-RYT 500 has been practicing and teaching yoga and body work for over 30 years. She teaches nationally and internationally.
Ellen has written several books on yoga and body work including Kinetic Awareness: Discovering Your Body Mind, Anatomy & Yoga, A Guide for Teachers and Students, The Bodymind Ballwork Method: A Self-Directed Practice to Help You Move with Ease, Release Tension and Relieve Chronic Pain,. She has co-authored two books with Dr. Loren Fishman, Yoga for Arthritis and Yoga for Osteoporosis. Ellen also teaches webinars on YogaUOnline, a premier yoga education resource. She is a certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapist. Cheryl Chaffee
Charyl Chaffee, ERYT-500, YACEP®, became dedicated to yoga in 2003. She began teaching in 2005, became a Certified Anusara Yoga Teacher in 2010, and bought the Garden of the Heart Yoga Center in Sarasota, Florida in 2011. Cheryl currently loves studying Ashaya Yoga with Todd Norian. She has assisted Todd at workshops at Kripalu, and at his 200 hour Teacher Trainings in Lenox, MA and St. Michael’s, MD. Cheryl is currently leading her own 200 hour Ashaya Yoga Teacher Training in Sarasota, FL.
Cheryl loves the depth and intensity of Ashaya Yoga. She feels that the purpose of yoga is not to do the most difficult asanas, but is to go deeper into the understanding of the Self through the body, and connect to the Heart. Ashaya Yoga invites students to look at the places where yoga (and life) is challenging, and encourages everyone to connect to their own authenticity. Sarah Fischer
Sarah Fischer, ERYT500, YACEP, Licensed Ashaya Yoga® teacher and teacher trainer.
Sarah has been teaching heart-centered, alignment-based yoga since 2007. She is a longtime student of Todd Norian, the founder of Ashaya Yoga® and has assisted him and Randy Boyd in multiple 200hr Ashaya Yoga® teacher trainings. Sarah is known for her focus on precise alignment, effective sequencing, and relatable storytelling. But she is most loved for her ability to touch the Heart of any student she teaches. Sarah is also a life-coach. She lives and teaches public class, workshops, and Ashaya Yoga® teacher training in Richmond, VA. |
Nora NadireNora's vision is to guide others to awaken their hearts through yoga, to discover their capacity for love, freedom, and deep peace. Nora has been practicing yoga for more than ten years and became a certified instructor after feeling inspired to share her love for yoga through teaching. She completed 500 hours of training with Todd Norian, founder of Ashaya Yoga ®. Nora has assisted Todd and Randy. She will bring that knowledge and skill to the training. . As a classically-trained singer, Nora finds joy in sharing her love of music, and ends each class with a Sanskrit chant. Nora will bring share her voice and chanting with the class. Nora lives in the Adirondacks and enjoys farming, hiking, traveling, cooking, and playing music.
